Important Spectator Travel Information

  • All spectators and guests are advised that there is no parking at the venue or within the immediate area.
  • Spectators are strongly advised to utilise public transport provisions.
  • Nearest parking is at Westfield Stratford - click here for information.

Public Transport

Trains and Tube:Stratford station is served by:

  • Docklands Light Railway (DLR)
  • Jubilee Line and Central Line
  • National Rail
  • London Overground services.

Stratford International station is served by:

  • Docklands Light Railway (DLR)
  • South Eastern High Speed 1 services including the ‘javelin’ service to and from St Pancreas station

Both stations provide step-free access from entrance to platform.  


Stratford bus station and Stratford City bus station are both located in close proximity to Stratford station.

Day buses to/from Stratford (including 24 hour routes) are: 25, 69, 86, 97, 104, 108, 158, 238, 241, 257, 262, 276, 308, 339, 388, 425, 473, D8

The nearest stop to the velodrome is on Waterden Road. Buses will terminate at stop on Montfichet Road and pick up from stop W at Stratford City bus station.


Taxi ranks are located by Stratford International, on Montfitchet Road and on Westfield Avenue. Taxis are able to drop-off but not collect from Veloplace. 


Bike parking is available at the velodrome. The Santander Superhighway 2 has been extended to Stratford from Aldgate. There is no docking facility for Santander Cycle Hire bikes at the venue. All bikes are parked at the owner’s own risk.
