Paris launch postponed to the 2017 season

08 November 2016

While it was initially chosen for the inaugural round of the Revolution Cycling Champions League on the 18th and 19th November, the Velodrome National de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (Paris) won’t host the event as planned in 2016.

The arrival of the competition in France has been delayed to the 2017 season, and will this year take place in the UK only.

While the Revolution organisation was excited to launch the first event outside of the UK, the difficult decision was taken not to proceed with the first round of the Revolution Cycling Champions League in Paris. The competition will be raced across two rounds in Manchester (25-26 November) & London (2-3 December).

We are still keen to contribute to the development of track cycling in France, and will aim to come back next year in more favourable conditions, to present the Revolution Series to the French audience.

More information can be viewed on the Manchester event and London event with confirmed teams available to view here.
