CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT
Teams made up of two elite endurance riders will race for league points as they bid to become the Revolution Champions.
Teams will score points for each Championship race at each event - these points will accrue across the season and, quite simply, the team with the most league points at the end of the Series is the winner...
THE TEAMS
The teams will be made up of a squad of riders and team composition will change at each event depending on rider availability. The pro teams will feature their own riders who will swap and change across the Revolution events depending on their availability. The other teams will benefit from star continental riders who will slot in throughout the season to boost the squad. When star riders are brought in they will be expected to score highly to improve the team’s rankings so tactics will be crucial.
Every point counts meaning that the whole team have to work together to fight for every race place.
Each team will have a Captain who may change depending on who is the most experienced rider on the night. The Captain and Team Manager will be responsible for team tactics.
Prize money will be awarded to the winning team at each event and the overall winning team.
