The Championship Begins...
POINTS SYSTEM
The Revolution Championship will see teams racing for points to provide a total at each event. These totals will give each team a ranking from 1 to 8. League points will then be awarded based on the ranking with the 1st placed team receiving 10 league points, 2nd receiving 8 points and so on (see table below).
At the next event the teams will start from scratch and accumulate points to achieve the highest ranking on the evening. The league points awarded at each event will accrue to give the final league standings at the end of the season.
If a team has a poor event with all riders scoring low then the worst case scenario is that they will loose a maximum of 8 league points to a rival team (based on them scoring 2 points as the lowest ranked and the winner scoring 10 points). The team will then have the opportunity to start from scratch at the next event and achieve a higher ranking, perhaps with the help of a couple of star riders who become available.

Bonus Points
Bonus league points will be available across the season with 5 bonus available for a Series Race winner. This means that if a team wins all four Points races (or other championship events) they will get the bonus.
Other bonus points will be announced at the beginning of each event.
