REVOLUTION 21

It was an emotional evening in the Manchester Velodrome at Revolution 21 with Bradley McGee making his final competitive appearance. McGee bowed out in style taking victory in the Scratch Race before before being joined by his family in track centre for a farewell presentation.
 
McGee was accompanied to the event by CSC team mate Stuart O'Grady and whilstbeing interviewed by Hugh Porter he joked, "at midnight tonight I'll become Stuey's boss, scary huh?"
 
In the other endurance events Chris Newton stormed to victory in the Points Race, Geraint Thomas took the win in the Motor Paced Scratch and Ed Clancy and Steven Burke clocked an amazing 55.048 to win the 1km Madison Time Trial.
 
In the evening's feature event the endurance boys took a surprise win over the Team Sprint in the Flying 750m Time Trial.
